I have lived in Pasadena since 1998. In 2000, after Nicole and I were married, we moved to our home near Victory Park. We have since been blessed with three children, two of whom attended Don Benito Fundamental from kindergarten through 5th grade, before moving on to Marshall Fundamental. Our oldest son graduated this spring as part of the “virtual” Class of 2020, and will study at UC Santa Barbara in the fall. Our daughter just started her freshman year at Marshall. Finally, our youngest son attended preschool at Norma Coombs and Burbank elementary, and thereafter enrolled at Sierra Madre Elementary as part of its K-1 inclusion program. He is now in the fourth grade.
We are a proud PUSD family and are grateful for our kids’ experiences in the district.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
I have been part of the Pasadena community and a teacher in PUSD for over 16 years. I support Wayne Hammack for school board because I have witnessed a person whose actions and countless volunteer hours make a positive impact on our kids. What I find most commendable is his commitment to support all students of PUSD and I know he will dedicate his efforts to give each one the opportunities for success.
