My pusd family
I have lived in Pasadena since 1998. In 2000, after Nicole and I were married, we moved to our home near Victory Park. We have since been blessed with three children, two of whom attended Don Benito Fundamental from kindergarten through 5th grade, then moved on to Marshall Fundamental. Our oldest son graduated this spring as part of the “virtual” Class of 2020, and will study at UC Santa Barbara in the fall. Our daughter just started her freshman year at Marshall. Our youngest son attended preschool at Norma Coombs and Burbank elementary, and thereafter enrolled at Sierra Madre Elementary as part of its K-1 inclusion program. He is now in the fourth grade.
We are a proud PUSD family and are grateful for our kids’ experiences in the district.
I grew up in Chino, where after graduating from the local public high school I received my degree in Political Science from UC Riverside. I then obtained my law degree from Southwestern University School of Law, and began my legal career. Over more than 20 years as an attorney (insert lawyer jokes here!), my practice has included the defense of various civil matters ranging from general liability, employment law, commercial litigation, professional liability and insurance coverage claims. I am a partner with a national law firm.
My wife has been a lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona for the past five years, teaching classes in agricultural business and ethics.
